Welcome to the Team, Dawn Pribbenow
We’re excited to introduce Dawn Pribbenow, who has joined Control Sales as our new Director of Distribution.
Dawn brings a deep background in distribution and channel sales, with experience at industry-leading organizations including Hughes-Peters, Arrow Electronics, and Avnet. Over the years, she has built strong partnerships across the supply chain and developed a sharp understanding of how to connect manufacturers, distributors, and customers in a way that drives real results.
She’s known for being both strategic and hands-on—someone who understands the big picture but also knows how to roll up her sleeves and make things happen. That combination makes her a great fit for our team and for the partners we support across Illinois and Wisconsin.
“Dawn has spent most of her career on the distribution side, and that perspective is incredibly valuable to our principals and customers,” said Kingsland Coombs. “She understands what it takes to build strong, aligned partnerships, and we’re excited to have her leading that effort for Control Sales.”
In her new role, Dawn will focus on strengthening our distributor relationships, aligning strategy across our lines, and continuing to elevate the level of service we provide.

Thank You, Susan Leager
At the same time, we’re saying thank you—and congratulations—to Susan Leager, who will be retiring at the end of May.
Susan joined Control Sales in 2018 and quickly became a cornerstone of our distribution strategy. With decades of experience, including her time at Arrow Electronics, she brought both expertise and credibility to every relationship she touched.
More importantly, Susan brought a steady, thoughtful approach to the role. She built strong connections with our distributor partners, supported our principals with consistency and professionalism, and became someone our entire team relied on.
“Susan has been an integral part of Control Sales for the past several years,” said Kingsland Coombs. “Her experience, relationships, and leadership have made a real difference for our company and our partners. We’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s done and wish her all the best in retirement.”
